Description
The Lawton Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation (OCCF), offers donor- and organization-established scholarship and award funds for Lawton-area students. These funds support higher education and career education, with individual scholarships serving distinct educational purposes. The OCCF Universal Application cycle covers Fall 2027–Spring 2028 awards.
The Great Plains – Jim Nisbett Scholarship Fund supports students bound for Great Plains Technology Center. Its goals include encouraging education after high school, developing marketable skills, completing career education, and entering the workforce successfully. Scholarships offered through the United States Field Artillery Association Foundation support higher education, with consideration given to academic potential, personal character and responsibility, and the benefit of financial assistance in meeting educational goals.
