Description
The Leadership Advancement Award is a sabbatical funding program designed to enable executive directors (or equivalent senior leaders) of nonprofit organizations to take a two- to three-month leave from their daily responsibilities. The award aims to rejuvenate senior leadership while providing professional development opportunities for staff who temporarily assume executive duties, thereby fostering organizational growth and resilience. Eligible expenses include travel (airfare and lodging), personal development (such as retreats or workshops), stipends for staff assuming additional responsibilities, and fees for temporary contracted services. The program is intended to support both the individual leader and the broader leadership capacity of the organization.
