This in-person program, run by the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, is designed to equip Indigenous leaders, directors, and managers with innovative, culturally grounded approaches to governance for councils and boards. The curriculum integrates presentations, workshops, classroom exercises, and land-based teachings guided by Elders and experienced Indigenous faculty. Participants will explore principles of good governance, adapt corporate systems to reflect Indigenous values, and develop practical skills to enhance organizational effectiveness and leadership within Indigenous structures.
