Learning Event Support is offered by the Medical College of Wisconsin through the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW). It funds Wisconsin-based events that build knowledge, skills, and networks among the state’s current health professionals and next generation of leaders. The goal is a more accessible, equipped, and representative health workforce that can apply learning to improve health in Wisconsin communities.
The program offers community-led and MCW-led pathways. Events should align with AHW’s Education and Workforce Development pathway, encompassing the health research, health care, and community and public health workforce. Successful applications identify a key learning gap, a targeted Wisconsin health workforce audience, and how participants will put their learning into action to advance health or health equity.
