    The Society Awards, offered by the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA), celebrate the achievements of AIA Local Societies in promoting archaeology to the public. The awards honor the best Society website, the most creative and informative lecture flyer or poster, and the most impressive publicity in local or social media. Each winner receives a cash prize and recognition at the AIA Annual Meeting. These contests aim to foster community engagement, highlight innovative outreach, and advance the mission of the AIA through effective public communication.
