The Lee Jaffe Candidates’ Council Paper Prize is an annual award from the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsA) recognizing exceptional papers on psychoanalytic topics by APsA In-Training Clinical Members. Established in memory of former APsA President Lee Jaffe, Ph.D., the prize honors his legacy and contributions to the psychoanalytic community. The winner presents their paper at the APsA National Meeting, while the semi-finalist presents in a virtual session. Both the winner and semi-finalist may have their papers considered for publication in the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association (JAPA).
