Description
The Lefrançois-BioLegend Memorial Award is administered by the American Association of Immunologists (AAI) to honor the memory of AAI member Leo Lefrançois, Ph.D. Supported by BioLegend and donations from his friends and colleagues, it advances the career of a trainee who attends the AAI annual meeting and presents an outstanding abstract in mucosal immunology.
The award recognizes scientific work submitted in the meeting’s Mucosal and Regional Immunology topic category. Selection centers on an outstanding abstract chosen for podium presentation, rather than a separate research project proposal. The recipient will be recognized and presented with an award certificate during an awards ceremony at IMMUNOLOGY2027.
