This program, administered by the Washington Headquarters Services on behalf of the Office of the Under Secretary of War, funds non-research cooperative agreements aimed at managing and sustaining Department of War (DoW) lands in the United States. Supported projects should advance installation energy resilience, environmental objectives, compatible land use, and conservation efforts. Funding is provided through several DoW programs, including SERDP, ESTCP, REPI, and the Legacy Resource Management Program. Projects may include technology demonstration, ecosystem and species management, PFAS remediation, wildfire risk reduction, and other initiatives that directly support military readiness and resilience.
