Description
This program provides financial assistance to individual artists for legal services essential to their art practice or business. Eligible services include forming a business entity, contract or lease review, and trademark renewal or intellectual property guidance. Grants can be used with attorneys of the artist’s choice or with vetted attorneys through the GCAC Lawyer Referral Service, who offer flat-fee services at $300 per legal matter. The goal is to increase access to affordable, professional legal support, protect artists’ rights, and strengthen the creative community in Franklin County, Ohio.
