Description
This residency offers creative groups (2–8 members) the opportunity to spend one to three weeks at Banff Centre's Leighton Studios, nestled in a forested campus in the Canadian Rockies. The program is designed for collaborative research, project development, and creative exploration in a self-directed environment, with each group managing their own time and workflow. Studios such as the Painter House (for larger groups) or Thom and Gerin-Lajoie studios (for duos) are available, each equipped to support a variety of artistic disciplines. The residency does not include production or technical support, making it best suited for independent, self-sufficient teams. Accommodation, meals, and access to campus facilities are included in the program fee, with scholarships available to offset costs.
