Description
The LEO Foundation Dr Abildgaard Fellowships provide five years of stable funding for emerging research leaders to establish or expand an independent group at a Danish institution. The program supports ambitious, creative research on skin and skin diseases with potential for high impact, while giving fellows room to adjust their scientific course and develop a competitive research profile.
Projects may be basic, translational, epidemiological or clinical. Areas of interest include skin biology and disease mechanisms; clinical needs and quality-of-life impacts; improved diagnostics, prevention and treatment; and approaches that bring fields such as data science into skin research.
