Description
The LEO Foundation Visiting Researchers program supports temporary placements of skin researchers in foreign research environments. Its purpose is to foster genuine international collaboration and strengthen the exchange of knowledge, ideas, methodology, and technology between Danish and international skin research communities. Visits must have a clear skin research focus and may involve basic, translational, epidemiological, or clinical activities.
The program connects institutions in both directions: researchers employed at Danish research institutions may visit institutions abroad, and researchers at international institutions may visit Danish institutions. The Foundation aims to build a cohesive and agile skin research ecosystem through these exchanges. Applications should explain the visit’s expected benefits for the researcher, the participating groups and institutions, and the wider skin research field.
