Description
The Levee Project Fund Grant Program is administered by Business Oregon and funded through the Levee Project Grant Fund under ORS 285B.421. It provides grants for levee projects across Oregon, including planning, development, and other work directly related to and necessary for construction, capital improvements, required inspections, levee certification, accreditation, or repairs.
The program also supports projects involving flood control embankments and flood control facilities. Its scope includes both physical improvements and the planning, inspection, certification, and accreditation work necessary for those activities. Within its statewide scope, the program has a geographic requirement: at least 60% of total projects must occur in rural or distressed areas.
