Description
The Lewis Walpole Library–ASECS Library Fellowship supports research projects in eighteenth-century studies, including dissertation research. It is jointly funded by the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS) and Yale University’s Lewis Walpole Library, with the library managing the fellowship and receiving applications directly.
The program brings together a scholarly society devoted to eighteenth-century studies and a university library to support researchers in that field. It is intended for scholars who hold a PhD and graduate students working on their dissertations. ASECS membership is not required at the application stage, allowing nonmembers to apply, but recipients must become members in good standing before receiving the award.
