Description
LF Experiment is a Lundbeck Foundation programme supporting extraordinary research ideas that challenge established thinking in neuroscience. It seeks unique, high-risk projects in their early phase that could transform understanding of an important topic, open a new research field, or create a novel method or technology. Projects must clearly benefit neuroscience and/or the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of nervous system disorders.
The programme welcomes cross-disciplinary approaches that generate insights into biological mechanisms, trial design and emerging technologies. Evaluation centres on the idea rather than previous scientific merits. The programme forms part of the Foundation’s ambition to strengthen neuroscience in Denmark and foster world-class research at Danish universities and hospitals, while supporting scientists at all career levels.
