--- ## Description This grant supports extraordinary and high-risk research ideas in neuroscience that challenge established norms and have the potential to transform the field if successful. The Lundbeck Foundation emphasizes the novelty and transformative potential of the proposed research, rather than the applicant’s prior scientific record. The program aims to foster world-class neuroscience research in Denmark by encouraging diverse, cross-disciplinary, and early-phase projects that may lead to breakthroughs in biological mechanisms, trial design, emerging technologies, and more. --- ## Due Dates - August 2026 (anticipated): Full application submission deadline (projected: 13:00 CET, 14 August) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - Maximum per project: DKK 2.3 million (approx. €310,000) for up to 2 years. - Total call budget: Up to DKK 60 million, subject to sufficient application quality. - Funding covers staff and non-staff costs. PhD salaries are not eligible. Applicants on permanent or tenure-track contracts cannot apply for their own salary.
