    Description

The Lundbeck Foundation’s LF Professorships support research environments centred on internationally recognised scientists and research leaders. The programme aims to make Denmark a leader in neuroscience and foster world-class research at Danish universities and university hospitals. Professors are expected to make significant scientific contributions while developing and mentoring junior researchers and creating environments that stimulate scientists at all career levels.

The programme funds frontline basic, clinical and translational research with a compelling scientific vision and clear potential impact. Work must address neuroscience or have clear relevance to it. Neuroscience is interpreted broadly, encompassing medical, technical, natural and social sciences, as well as the humanities. The Foundation encourages applications from qualified scientists of all backgrounds and emphasises diversity in research environments.
