Description
The LGBT+ Giving Circle, an initiative of the Rochester Area Community Foundation, is a philanthropic and educational program led by LGBTQ+ and allied community leaders. Its mission is to advance equity, inclusion, and belonging for LGBTQ+ individuals in the Greater Rochester area through strategic grantmaking. Grants support organizations and projects that foster safer, more inclusive communities, with a focus on health, human services, arts, culture, and other areas that benefit the LGBTQ+ community. Priority is given to operational support for ongoing impactful activities and to programs centering historically marginalized groups within the LGBTQ+ community, including BIPOC individuals, transgender and gender non-conforming people, youth, and elders.
