Description
The Library Company of Philadelphia and the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS) jointly fund this short-term fellowship for research projects in eighteenth-century studies. The Library Company manages the fellowship and receives applications directly.
The award supports scholars who hold a PhD and graduate students working on their dissertations. It provides $3,000 for research in the field. ASECS membership is not needed to apply, but a recipient must become a member in good standing before receiving an award. ASECS also limits members to accepting one of its travel grants or fellowships per fiscal year.
