Description
This grant supports seminars and conference sessions focused on the Italian Renaissance (14th–17th centuries), including transnational dialogues between Italy and other cultures. The program aims to foster new perspectives and innovative approaches, especially at venues or within disciplines where Renaissance studies are less prominent. Preference is given to events that ask new questions, explore underexamined facets, or are held at discipline-specific annual conferences (e.g., history of art, architecture, literature, music, science). The grant is administered by Villa I Tatti, The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies.
