Description
This funding opportunity supports "mature" synchrotron resources at facilities that provide user access to X-ray beamlines for static and dynamic imaging of biological systems, from molecules to organs. "Mature" refers to well-established techniques at these beamlines that serve the research community without requiring significant new technology development. The program is intended to maintain or upgrade these facilities to current best practices, ensure their capabilities are widely known through outreach, and provide user training and support. Only applications for synchrotron resources currently supported by NIGMS funding are eligible.
