Description
The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and Claremont Lincoln University (CLU) jointly offer Lincoln Vibrant Communities Certificates to build community leaders’ capacity to address complex local challenges. The Fellows Certificate is a 24-week experience combining immersive in-person learning, asynchronous online graduate-level coursework, expert-led webinars, and peer networking. Its data-center focus provides principles applicable to distribution centers, advanced manufacturing, housing, logistics, and major infrastructure investments.
Participants explore sustainable siting, risk management, finance and policy tools, community trust, geospatial visualization, and Community Benefit Agreements. Coursework develops skills in scenario planning, strategic communication, conflict mediation, and policy design. The program aims to support measurable, lasting local impact and culminates in a nine-credit certificate, with academic credit subject to degree requirements.
