The Lincoln Vibrant Communities Certificates program, offered by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy in partnership with Claremont Lincoln University, is a cohort-based, 24-week leadership development initiative designed for current, emerging, and aspiring community leaders in the United States. The program blends immersive in-person learning (September 30–October 2, 2026, in Chicago, IL) with a robust online curriculum and applied coursework focused on land policy, scenario planning, data visualization, strategic communication, conflict mediation, and policy development.
Participants may enroll as individuals (Fellows Certificate) or as teams of four to six cross-sector professionals (Teams Certificate). Both tracks culminate in a nine-credit graduate certificate, which can be applied toward a CLU master's degree or converted into undergraduate credits for eligible participants. The program is designed to build practical skills, foster national networks, and empower leaders to address complex community challenges such as sustainable development, data center siting, and neighborhood revitalization.
