    Description

The London Mathematical Society’s Student Representative Activities Fund supports informal, student-led social events that strengthen connections between the Society and mathematics students and encourage LMS membership. Supported gatherings can include coffee mornings, drinks receptions, pub nights, and other informal activities that bring students together in a welcoming setting.

Events should help students learn about the LMS while connecting with like-minded peers. Membership benefits—including access to journals, conferences, networking opportunities, career resources, funding opportunities, and upcoming LMS events—can be shared informally. The fund also aims to help students build friendships and a sense of community, with opportunities for collaborations, mentorship, and a stronger sense of belonging within mathematics.
