Description
This competitive grant, administered by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Nutrition Unit, funds statewide Colorado nonprofit organizations to deliver technical assistance, training, and education supporting the implementation of the Local Food Program and healthy school meals. The program aims to strengthen the capacity of school nutrition operators and community partners to procure, prepare, and promote Colorado-grown, raised, and processed products in K-12 school meals, fostering nutrition education and supporting local producers.
