Description
The Local Legal Support Initiative (LLSI) is a program by the State of Colorado, administered through the Department of Local Affairs, that offers free legal assistance to eligible Colorado entities. The initiative helps local governments, federally recognized Tribes, special districts, and non-profit organizations navigate federal funding challenges, including contract changes, compliance with evolving federal regulations, grant management, procurement, and appeals or corrective actions related to federal agency decisions. While the program prioritizes small and rural entities, urban organizations are also eligible. The goal is to ensure awarded federal funds remain deployable, compliant, and protected.
