Description
The New Jersey Department of Health’s Division of Local Public Health administers this program to strengthen the infrastructure local health departments use to build, promote, and protect local health. Its focus follows three strategies of the CDC Public Health Infrastructure Grant: Workforce, Foundational Capabilities, and Data Modernization.
Rather than funding a single health issue or service, the program supports the people, core capabilities, and data-related systems underlying local public health work. Both non-LINCS and LINCS Agency local health departments may apply for this funding.
