Description
The New Jersey Department of Health’s Division of Local Public Health runs this competitive Outbreak Preparedness program for up to five local health departments. It supports work to strengthen their capacity to prepare for infectious disease outbreaks and respond when they occur.
The program focuses on local public health capacity rather than a particular disease or specified research project. Departments may partner with other local health officers during the grant; each intended partner’s Health Officer must provide a Letter of Support.
