Description
The New Jersey Department of Health’s Office of Substance Use Services funds municipal and county health departments with previously established Overdose Fatality Review Teams. The program supports the implementation and continued operation of those teams in the jurisdictions they serve.
The funded teams use their review work to identify and carry out strategies to reduce overdose deaths. The program is intended to support 20 local health departments, sustaining county and municipal review efforts and turning findings into action.
