Description
The Local Section Inclusion and Belonging Grant, offered by the American Chemical Society (ACS) Committee on Local Section Activities (LSAC), provides funding for ACS local sections to implement projects that advance inclusion and belonging within their section and the broader community. The grant encourages a wide range of initiatives, such as speaker series, heritage days, scholarship matching, activities with Project SEED, undergraduate research support, outreach to underrepresented groups, mentoring, diversity professional development, book clubs, seminar series, and workshops. Projects should promote interaction with other ACS sections, divisions, committees, professional associations, or community groups, and enhance participation and inclusiveness.
