Description
This grant, offered by the American Chemical Society (ACS) Committee on Local Section Activities, funds projects and programs that promote inclusion and belonging within ACS local sections and their broader communities. The program encourages creative approaches to advancing ACS’s core values, with a focus on collaboration—whether with other ACS entities, professional associations, or community groups. Eligible projects might include speaker series, heritage days, scholarship matching, outreach to underrepresented groups, mentoring, professional development, book clubs, seminars, and workshops. Each local section is encouraged to interpret and address the theme of inclusion and belonging in ways that best serve their unique communities.
