Description
The Local Section Inclusion and Belonging Grant, offered by the ACS Committee on Local Section Activities (LSAC), aims to empower ACS local sections to create and implement projects that advance inclusion and belonging within their sections and communities. The grant encourages creative, impactful initiatives—such as speaker series, heritage days, outreach to underrepresented groups, mentoring, professional development, book clubs, and collaborations with other organizations—that reflect the unique needs and perspectives of each local section. The program is designed to help foster a more inclusive and engaged chemistry community by supporting a wide range of activities that align with ACS’s core values.
