Description
The Local Share Account (LSA) – Fayette County program is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). Established under the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development and Gaming Act, it distributes portions of the local share assessment on certain licensed gaming facilities to support community and economic well-being.
Funding supports Fayette County projects that promote economic activity and create or retain jobs, improve or create civic, cultural, or recreational activities and facilities, or improve quality of life. Projects enter a county-based review process through the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Fayette (RACF), working with the Fayette County LSA Steering Committee. RACF submits funding recommendations to DCED for final review, approval, and funding.
