This grant program provides funding for projects that enhance economic development, community well-being, and public interest in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, and its contiguous counties (Carbon, Lackawanna, Northampton, Pike, and Wayne). Established under the Pennsylvania Gaming Act, the Local Share Account (LSA) aims to distribute funds generated from gaming revenues to support initiatives that promote local job creation, improve quality of life, and foster regional growth. Eligible projects include public interest improvements, economic development initiatives, and roadway enhancements within twenty miles of the gaming facility in Monroe County.
