Description
The Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) is New York State’s primary initiative for partnering with communities along its coasts and designated inland waterways to address waterway challenges, improve water quality, protect natural areas, and guide sustainable development. The program provides funding and technical support for municipalities to develop or implement comprehensive plans that promote public access, revitalize underutilized waterfront spaces, and ensure long-term resilience and environmental stewardship.
