Description

The Loeb Classical Library Foundation offers annual fellowships to qualified scholars for research, publication, and a wide range of projects in classical studies. Eligible activities include publication subventions, sabbatical enhancement, travel to libraries or collections, support for research assistants, conferences, dramatic productions, excavation expenses, and acquisition of research materials. The program aims to advance scholarship in archaeology and Greek and Latin literature, in line with the Foundation's mission of fostering research without distinction as to sex, race, nationality, color, or creed. Funding decisions are made by a special selection committee, and individual requests may be only partially funded.
