The Long-Term Impacts Initiative (LTII) funds research on the enduring effects of interventions designed to enhance incomes and livelihoods in low- and middle-income countries. The initiative seeks to support studies that leverage randomized controlled trials (RCTs), administrative data, and mobile technology to assess long-term outcomes, with a focus on income, consumption, and livelihoods-related measures. This RFP is particularly interested in projects that can inform policy and provide evidence to governments and donors about which development programs yield sustained improvements in economic well-being. The majority of funding this round is reserved for projects based in sub-Saharan Africa, though projects elsewhere may be considered if they have strong replication or scaling potential in the region.
