The L'Oréal USA For Women in Science program recognizes and supports outstanding postdoctoral women scientists in the United States and Puerto Rico working in STEM fields. Each year, five awardees receive a $75,000 grant to advance their research and professional development, along with opportunities for mentoring and networking. The program is managed in partnership with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and is the U.S. component of the global L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Fellowships. Awardees are expected to serve as role models and commit to activities supporting women and girls in science.
