Description
The Louise Hay Award, established by the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM), honors exceptional achievements in mathematics education. The award celebrates the legacy of Louise Hay, a renowned educator and leader, by recognizing women who have made significant contributions to mathematics education, broadly defined. The recipient receives a $500 honorarium, an honorary certificate, and is featured in the AWM Newsletter. The award is presented annually at the Joint Mathematics Meetings.
