This award is established in memory of AAI member Joseph Lustgarten, Ph.D., and is intended to advance the career of a mid-career scientist who attends the AAI annual meeting and presents an outstanding abstract in the area of immune regulation. Supported by Thermo Fisher Scientific, the award recognizes significant scientific contributions, with preference for research focusing on tumor immunology, regulatory cell subsets, and cell signaling related to immune responses to tumors. The recipient is recognized during the AAI Business Meeting and Awards Presentation at IMMUNOLOGY2026™ and receives a monetary award.
