Description
The American Association of Immunologists (AAI) presents this award in memory of member Joseph Lustgarten, Ph.D., with support from Thermo Fisher Scientific. It is intended to advance the career of a mid-career scientist who attends AAI’s annual meeting and presents an outstanding abstract in immune regulation. The award recognizes research submitted for presentation at the meeting, rather than a proposed project.
Preference is given to abstracts focused on tumor immunology; regulatory cell subsets or cell regulation in response to tumors; and cell signaling processes related to immune responses to tumors. The recipient is recognized during the AAI Business Meeting and Awards Presentation.
