Description
The Lycoming Economic Development Foundation partners with First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP) to support community-based economic development that strengthens Lycoming County’s economy and enhances residents’ quality of life. Established in 1955 to promote the county’s economic, commercial, and industrial welfare, the foundation carries that purpose forward through the Lycoming Economic Development Foundation Fund in Memory of Joseph L. Rider.
The program supports job creation and retention, a skilled workforce—with particular attention to low-income individuals—and public infrastructure or facilities that help existing businesses expand or attract new industry. Environmentally sustainable approaches to promoting business, community revitalization, and tourism promotion are also priorities. Requests may address one or more of these goals.
