Description
The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Lymphoma Scientific Research Mentoring Program (LSRMP) combines research support with education and mentoring for clinical fellows, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty committed to lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) research. Its Clinical and Laboratory/Translational tracks provide tailored training while fostering collaboration across research disciplines.
Scholars develop and revise a hypothesis-driven research project with expert faculty, statisticians, peers, and mentors at their home institutions. The program emphasizes research design and analysis, grant writing, career development, and long-term mentoring relationships. Clinical projects directly involve patients, including epidemiological studies; laboratory/translational projects advance understanding of lymphoma biology, diagnosis, prognosis, or outcomes. An intensive four-day introductory workshop and follow-up programming help participants prepare for future grant funding.
