Description
The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Lymphoma Scientific Research Mentoring Program (LSRMP) helps clinical fellows, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty develop research projects and careers focused on lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Its Clinical Track covers patient-focused research, including epidemiology; its Laboratory/Translational Track covers bench, translational, pathology, and statistical research. A four-day workshop pairs project presentations and revision with instruction from lymphoma researchers and statisticians.
Mentoring continues through follow-up activities over the two-year program. Scholars work toward specific aims for a future grant submission while building relationships across the clinical and laboratory tracks. The Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board selects up to six Scholars per track.
