Description
The Lynches River Conservation grant funds land acquisition and conservation projects within the Lynches River watershed in South Carolina. Its primary goal is to enhance water quality and ecological integrity by protecting riparian zones and promoting connectivity to existing or planned conservation lands. Projects must demonstrate conservation value, address threats from development or land conversion, and ideally contribute to public use or connectivity to other protected lands. The program is overseen by the Lynches River Conservation Board and administered in collaboration with the Open Space Institute, which assists applicants with proposal development and due diligence.
