Description
The Maine Coastal Program, administered by the Maine Office of Community Affairs, provides competitive funding to support the sustainable management, access, and resilience of Maine’s coastal zone. Funding is available for shoreline access planning, waterfront and harbor planning, climate adaptation, resilience design, and related feasibility studies. The program aims to help municipalities, Tribal governments, and regional councils address coastal hazards, protect working waterfronts, improve public access, and plan for climate resilience.
