    Description

    The Management Improvement Fund is a special initiative of the Saint Paul and Minnesota Foundation, designed to strengthen the internal operations of small and midsize nonprofits throughout Minnesota. The fund provides grants for technical assistance and consultation aimed at building organizational capacity, supporting strategic planning, board and staff development, human resources, marketing, program evaluation, technology, financial planning, and nurturing BIPOC leadership. The fund is rooted in a commitment to racial equity and collaborative community problem-solving, with a particular focus on organizations serving low-income populations and BIPOC communities. Since 1991, the fund has supported over 470 nonprofit organizations.
