Description
The Marc R. de Leval Fellowship is designed to support early career congenital heart surgeons who have recently completed a congenital heart surgery fellowship. Funded by the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) Foundation, this fellowship enables recipients to spend two to three months at a host institution of their choice—domestic or international—where they can enhance their clinical knowledge and surgical techniques in congenital heart surgery. The program aims to foster skill development, collaboration, and international exchange among congenital heart surgeons, offering unique opportunities for hands-on learning and professional networking with leaders in the field.
