Description
The Marc R. de Leval Fellowship, administered by the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) Foundation, is designed to support early-career cardiothoracic and thoracic surgeons—both international and domestic—who have recently completed a congenital heart surgery fellowship. The fellowship enables recipients to spend two to three months at an institution of their choice (from a pre-approved list or a self-proposed host), focusing on advanced congenital heart surgery clinical techniques and fostering professional relationships with international peers. The aim is to promote professional growth, facilitate knowledge exchange, and encourage collaboration in the field of congenital heart surgery.
