Description
The Maritime Heritage Education Subgrant Program, administered by the Massachusetts Historical Commission (MHC) with federal support from the National Maritime Heritage Grant Program, funds innovative educational projects that promote and broaden public engagement with Massachusetts' maritime heritage. Projects may include hands-on activities, digital resources, interpretive signage, workshops, exhibitions, and more, with the goal of increasing public understanding and access to the Commonwealth's rich maritime history. Eligible activities must align with one of three maritime resource categories and one of seven educational project types, and must be designed for broad public benefit.
