Description
This Fulbright Scholar Program award brings U.S. scholars to host institutions across the Kingdom of Denmark for maritime teaching and research. Scholars may pursue their own research or a project designated by the host, alongside activities such as courses, workshops, seminars, student mentoring, and curriculum or program development. The award is intended to strengthen research and education in the Danish maritime sector and expand collaboration with international scholars.
Projects may draw on any discipline related to maritime research, education, and development. Sustainability-focused themes receive priority, as do applicants with knowledge and experience of the maritime sector. The program also seeks to keep curricula current, promote sustainable technologies, and raise the international profile of Danish maritime education and research.
