The program uses a competitive proposal review process. The Foundation’s Selection Committee recommends recipients to its Board based on submitted proposals. Funded work is expected to culminate in one or more refereed journal submissions within 12 months of receiving the grant, with a report to the Foundation at that time. Public dissemination of the research should prominently acknowledge the Foundation’s support.
