Description
The 2026 Marquis Events Grant Program, offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) through its Office of Tourism, supports securing and executing large-scale events at world-class levels. It focuses on major sporting events, public festivals, multi-day cultural or sports activations, fan zones, and signature celebrations that promote Pennsylvania as a premium host.
Funding can support event operations, security, transportation, temporary infrastructure, programming, talent, marketing, and publicly accessible commemorative infrastructure. Eligible work includes professional or international sporting events and associated public programming, as well as major activities connected to America’s 250th anniversary in 2026. Projects commemorating Pennsylvania’s nationally significant role in American history must generate tourism.
