The Martin Research Prizes honor Joseph B. Martin, MD, PhD, former Dean of Harvard Medical School and Chief of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Each year, three prizes are awarded to recognize outstanding research achievements by MGH investigators, with one prize each for excellence in Fundamental (Basic) Research, Clinical Research, and Population Health Sciences Research. The awards celebrate significant research contributions published in the previous calendar year and highlight the impact of MGH investigators’ work. The prizes are administered by ECOR (Executive Committee on Research) at MGH.
