Description
The Mary Kay Ash Foundation funds innovative translational research on cancers affecting women, including ovarian, uterine, breast, endometrial, and cervical cancers. The program seeks work that connects laboratory research with clinical care and could improve cancer diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, or treatment.
The Foundation invites NCI-designated cancer institutes and accredited medical schools to apply. Its Scientific Research Review Committee, made up of members of the American medical and scientific community, reviews proposals. The Foundation anticipates funding 10 to 15 grants annually.
