Description
MassDevelopment’s Site Readiness Program supports municipalities and other eligible entities undertaking planning, predevelopment, and related work to prepare Massachusetts sites for significant private investment. Offered through the Commonwealth’s Community One Stop for Growth, it aims to increase the supply of large, well-located, project-ready sites and accelerate industrial, commercial, and mixed-use development.
The program also supports converting abandoned sites and obsolete facilities into clean, actively used properties that generate tax revenue. It focuses on site readiness work that enables new, large-scale private development with a direct economic impact on the surrounding community, including job creation and growth in the local tax base.
