The solicitation offers two tracks: Manufacturing & Defense and AI & Technology. Programs must incorporate Pathmaker Core Competencies while tailoring additional skills to specific occupations, technologies and regional workforce needs.
The program prioritizes Massachusetts residents from low-income and underrepresented communities, including individuals from federally recognized or state-acknowledged tribes within the Commonwealth, and people without significant industry experience or related higher education. Funding supports recruitment, technical and job-readiness training, participant stipends, wraparound supports, employer engagement, placement and retention services. The goal is employment immediately after training or within three months of completion, with a foundation for long-term career advancement.
